Hal Masonberg’s award-winning film JAZZ NIGHTS: A CONFIDENTIAL JOURNEY will have a rare Los Angeles screening as part of LeRoy Downs’ high-profile jazz concert series @ Mr Musichead Gallery. The evening will begin with a live performance from 7-7:30 by the Jon Dalton Jazz Trio.
This will be followed at 7:30 with a screening of JAZZ NIGHTS, followed by a Q&A with director Masonberg and some of the musicians featured in the film. This will be the first film ever shown as part of the Just Jazz Concert Series as well as the first public screening at Mr Musichead Gallery.
Tickets are a suggested $10 donation and can be purchased via Eventbrite.
JAZZ NIGHTS: A CONFIDENTIAL JOURNEY was the winner of the Audience Award at the 2017 Copenhagen Jazz Film Festival.
