Hal Masonberg’s Music Video for Jon Dalton’s “Song For Lynn”
Last year, JAZZ NIGHTS guitarist Jon Dalton asked me if I would shoot some footage of his recording session for a song he had just written at the request of a friend. The song was titled “Song For Lynn.” Jon pulled together a group of amazing musicians for the recording of this song. I went into the studio with a single-camera with the intention of just getting some behind-the-scenes footage. None of this was shot for the purposes of a music video. However, I put the footage together and Jon and his producer liked it so much that they asked me if I could turn it into a music video.
